Dr. Richard Zym

In 1991 Dr. Zym received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He then completed a prestigious residency program at Waterbury Hospital, Waterbury CT. This hospital is associated with The Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Zym began treating patients in Caldwell, NJ in 1993. While working in Caldwell for 18 years he learned to treat patients with care and offer only the finest quality dentistry.
Dr. Zym has extensive training with dental implants, practicing everything from single tooth restoration with an implant to full mouth rehabilitation with implants. His practice serves ages 1 to 99 and he strives for the highest quality of care. “I love my work, and the greatest satisfaction comes from restoring patients’ complete smile and seeing the restored self-esteem and the confidence that comes out of them after having a brand new smile."
Dr. Steven Reff
Dr. Steven Reff uses his extensive experience to provide the highest level of surgical care in a gentle, compassionate manner. He received his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. While there, he graduated at the top of his class and was honored by his faculty by being inducted into the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honors Society. He also served as President on a variety of committees including the Dental School’s Global Outreach Program and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery study group.
Following dental school, Dr. Reff completed his cosmetic and surgical-based training at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine/New York Presbyterian Hospital. Upon completing his training Dr. Reff began treating patients in private practice. He was also invited to take a position at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine teaching postgraduate candidates and futuredentists, and was additionally appointed admitting privileges.
Dr. Reff is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a credential he received after completing three years of intensive, hands-on oral implantology training.
Dr. Reff is proud to be joining Dr. Zym at his office in Fairfield, New Jersey. When he is not practicing dentistry or attending professional obligations, he enjoys hiking with his Yellow Lab, fly fishing, and relaxing with his wife Allison and their two children, Mackenzie and Preston.
